Blogger health check 3

Here is feedback on my blogs up until now.

Lorel, your blog is much improved since the last health check and you have responded well to feedback - well done! However, your blog count is quite low for this stage in the project and there are some elements that you could work on in order to continue to improve your current mark as we move into the final stages of the project. You have worked really hard and there is evidence of some good work on the blog so if you can continue to put in the effort in these final stages it could help to improve your final grade. Please read through the feedback below and then complete the to do list / targets at the bottom of the page:

strengths:
- much improved blogging!
- lots of evidence of filming and some reflection
- some nice evidence of drafting and editing
- some nice audience feedback
- beginning to use a greater range of ICT

weaknesses:
- time management and order of posting is a bit haphazard
- use of ICT - sometimes you use it really well and other times not at all, try to be more consistent!
- names you give the post titles - they aren't always clear which task on the check list they refer to and the title doesn't always identify the content of the blog, which is affecting presentation

to do / targets:
1. make sure you complete all ancillary tasks in particular 49/ 50/ 51/ 53/ 54/ 55/ 56 /57/58/60
2. aim to post all remaining tasks in chronological order
3. complete as much research as possible into similar ancillary texts within your genre
4. be creative with your use of ICT - when you use it, it is generally good so continue with it and refer to the list at the back of the blogging checklist to help
5. go back and change the names of the blog posts so that the title clearly reflects what is in the post (and if relevant the name of the blog task on the checklist) 

My own targets: 

Continue to blog and keep up to date. Blog at least twice a week 
Don't be scared to use a range of ICT try out different things even if I think it will be hard to use. If I'm not sure what ICT i could use for a blog, ask!

Shanai, after a dip in your blogging at the 2nd health check you have responded really well to feedback and your blog is much improved - well done! As we move into the final stages of the project, there are some elements that you could continue to develop in order to maintain, or possibly increase, your current mark. Please can you read through the feedback below and complete the to do / target list at the bottom of the page:

strengths:
- much improved!
- lots of lovely independent posts with lots of reflection on learning
- good evidence of filming and drafting in editing stages
- some nice research posts whilst music video is in production
- nice use of ICT

weaknesses:
- time management - frequency of posting and order of posts is a bit haphazard
- presentation of the blog - it doesn't feel very 'grime' and might be worth re-branding

to do / targets:
1. maintain the strong elements that you have managed to develop in your blog to date
2. aim to blog with more frequency and post your tasks in chronological order
3. ensure you complete key ancillary tasks 54,55,56,57 and 58 for both the website and digipak
4. be creative with your use of ICT
5. re-brand your blog to reflect the synergy in your Music video and ancillary



My own Targets:

• Post more frequently, try to complete a blog after every lesson as well as one for homework
• Re- brand our blog to synergise it with the video and digi-pack
